I am sorry to anyone who went to the store late Friday but I had to close early, I needed to be with my mother. As some of you know my mother had a stroke 17 months ago and it has been a long and difficult struggle for her and for us. On Friday night she passed away. It has been the most difficult time of my life and at least I now know that she is at peace. The next bit will still be hard as our family works at healing.
I know that this is a part of life, just not a part any of us want to experience.
I have been lax at getting some things accomplished at the store and it will take some time for me to get back on track but I am doing what I can.
I hope to see many of you at our National Scrapbook Day event. My mother often helped me with the preparations for this day for many years and I am sure in some way she will be with us.

National Scrapbook Day

May 3rd is National Scrapbook Day and we will be celebrating along with a Quickutz Day.
Quickutz will be releasing 4 new Gift Sets-you may have seen pictures floating around the internet already. We have a very limited supply of these gift sets. Quickutz has sold out of some of the sets already so we won't be able to re-order.
They are also running a contest to go hand in hand with the Gift Sets. For every purchase of a Gift Set you get a code to enter your name into a draw for a one of 4 trips to exotic locations. We will have some extra codes available to get your name in more times. We will begin handing them out on National Scrapbook Day-details will be at our store as to how you can get an extra code or two. These codes are in limited supply. We will also have some Quickutz Collectables that we will be giving away. On top of this we will have QK Make & Takes using the new sets on Sat. May 3 from 11:00-1:00.
We will also be hosting a free crop on May 3. We have limited space available, you must reserve your space to be guaranteed a spot.
And we have our fingers crossed that our first shipment of 12 in Platforms will be arriving around that time also. We have a waiting list for these and our first shipment is almost sold out so get your name on the list now.
We also have some great new Maya road products instock and some other items like Glimmer Mist and new Basic Grey.
