National Scrapbook Day Quickutz Gift Sets

Due to arrive this afternoon at our store. We are taking pre-orders for them. Contact us for our price. We have a very limited supply of them and they are already selling. We will process orders on Sat. If you want us to hold a set, we will hold it for you till Sat. but you must pay for it by the end of the day for us to keep it any longer. There are prizes codes in each package to enter your name for a trip for 2 to Hawaii. Note: Our Extra codes did not arrive. We will update when we know where they are.
Also we will be price matching any Authorized Canadian Quickutz Retailer who is offering the sets online for a lower price than ours. No ebay sellers. This will be their price only on Sat. and you must have purchased it from us by Sat. The other store must have it in stock on Sat. and it is only the price they sell it for on Sat. May 2. We will only match pricing and not extra incentives. And you must be able to purchase it online from them. Not their store pricing.
Contact the store for more details. And of course this is while supplies last.

Update: I guess they can be released for sale on Fri. May 1 at 5pm our time. Online orders will be processed at that time. Contact us for Fri. store pick up info.

Quickutz Updates

We will be receiving a shipment either Wed. of Thurs. of many of our back ordered QK products. Finally the Embossing folders will be here and I expect them to go quickly.
We will also have a few other items such as the little owl so those of you who are have your name on the list. I will be contacting you.
We will also be receiving our shipment of the National Scrapbook Day Gift Sets. I can tell you that there are 4 different sets. You will need a Revolution, Big Shot or Big Kick or Cuttlebug to use these as most are Cookie Cutter dies.
QK had great demand and we are only receiving half of our order as are all other stores. We will be taking pre-orders this week. I will be sending out more info. this afternoon as I expect to sell out of some of the sets very quickly. We will not be holding sets without payments. These sets are really cute.

Updates

Ok, it has been awhile. Last week was a long week. Sunday was the first anniversary of my mom's death so I had been dreading the weekend. But is has past but still on my mind.
And tomorrow my baby turns 11, can't believe how fast they grow. This summer my oldest will et his driver's lic. and I will have 2 in high school this fall. Yikes.
Anyway, waiting on UPS man. Fancy Pants kits are due in today but I am sure they will go fast. We have some new papers coming in, and new Spellbinder dies and more colours of Memento Inks.
We do not have today's QK release in yet. They haven''t shipped them to us. GRRR.
I did not order everything as I wanted to see some first and I wasn't sure how they would go over. If you want any let me know, I do have the labels and a few others on order already.
We also have a few spots left for our Copic Pen Class on Fri. night 6:3-8:30. $10 plus tax. It is a great introduction to to this product line and you do not need to own any of these products to take the class.
We also have a few of the Ultimate Crafters on sale for 20% off. The DVD is great that is included with it.
And our class room is a mess. So it is time for me to clean it up. As a result I will be doing a mini garage sale of items in there including many punches. We are going to update our tools to include Spellbinders dies and some Quickutz products so we need room. And a few other surprizes. This will run from now(of course I am just working on putting items out) till Sat. April 25 or while products last.
And we have 2 new Cricut Cartridges to rent-Life's A Beach and Storybook.
Till next time.

Digital Scrapbooking

First let me say that we received a small shipment of Quickutz products at our store today. Some of the Anime March release and some more 4x8 fonts. We are continuing our Buy One Get One Free on the 4x8 till Tues. April 7th. And we have put many of our other QK fonts on sale till then. All is while supplies last.
So I am very excited to announce that we have brought in a brand new product for those wanting to try their hands at digital scrapbooking. Memory Mixer 3 by Lasting Impressions. I have had my eye on this progam for years. I have done alot of research on digital scrapbooking and I really belive this is the best way to start. Many people say start with Photoshop Elements but the learning curve is steep. Memory Mixer is so easy but has tons of features. I will comment more on the program as I get going with it. It includes background papers, embellishments and loads of features to edit your photos. The possibilites are endless. We will be holding digital scrapbook classes very soon, so keep an eye on our website.
Keep an eye on my Twitter link as I will be updating as things happen at the store. Sometimes things happen so fast there isn't enough time to get them to the blog before it is old news.
Anyway, have a great weekend.
Happy Scrapping.

Going Pink

I have played around with the blog abit. I signed up for Twitter(thanks Karin for being a follower, nice to know someone cares) and choose a pink look and then thought the blog needed an update so I changed colours.
I will work on the gallery and forum soon.
I am very excited about a new product that is due to arrive tomorrow. It is a different direction for us at the store but a good thing. It is a complement to our current products and more. No hints till it arrives and I figure out how to use it myself. Kinda of a tool but not really. Can anyone guess?
And an update from my funny day today. Well I passed my Karma onto my DD. DS is still sick. DS and DD had a project due today. Historica, backboards and more. DD has been procrastinating with it so she is not happy with her project at all.
Anyway, they are not allowed on the bus with the backboards by our bus driver(who did see DD yesterday but didn't bother to wait). So I drove DD and took DS's to school. Of course it was pouring rain and they are too big for a garage bag(which by the way smelled bad). We get to school and I have DS's backboard and a book and DH's uniform as his project was on the RCMP. DD makes it to safety by the door and leaves her project leaning against a wall, well it falls. She stands there and stares and then the papers begin to fall off. She only used 4 photos squares per page(more like her father every day). And of course they blow away. So a girl from her class comes to the door to help and gets one of the papers and wipes it on her shirt to dry if off but it is ink and it smears even more.
Hopefully DH gets home in time to get her back to school tonight with new sheets as parents are viewing tonight. And I really think she was counting on aesthetcis helping her over content.
I think this blog is going to become more of a comedy show than notes about the store.
Stay dry.
Oh and none of this was an April Fools joke. DD was not laughing.
